Course outcome:

1.     Understand the basic principles of Vyakarana, pre-Paninian and post-Paninian schools of grammar and basics of Samjna, Sandhi, Subantas and Tingantas. Understand the concept of Karakas.

2.     Understand Samasa and Lakarartha.

3.     Differentiate Parasmaipada and Atmanepada.

4.     Understand Navyanyaya methodology as a tool of language study.

5.     Understand the methods of language acquisition and analyse Padajnana, Padarthajnana and Vakyarthajnana.

6.     Understand verbal comprehension based on the view of Naiyayikas.

7.     Understand the method of comprehension of syntactical relation.
