Udayana Acharya, the author of Nyaya Kusumanjali(984AD)

a Brahmana Logician of Mithila, wrote many significant works such as Nyaya Kusumanjali, Atmatattva viveka Kiranavali and Nyayaparisista.His another work called Lakshanavali. He was born in Man roni, a village 20 miles north of Dharbhanga in Mithila on the east bank of the river Kamala.

The Nyaya Kusumanjali literally means "a hand full of flowers",which is divided into five stabakas ,treats of the supreme soul or God , whose worship enables us, according to Udayana, to attain swarga and apavarga.
